Jenna Fischer is best known for her role as Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television show The Office The Office, for which she won the Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress and Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance in An Ensemble Comedy.
Jenna was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna observed as her mom Anne performed in church plays. She was awed by performance and theatre was cultivated when she was a little girl.
A trained theater actress, Fischer returned to her roots following the completion of The Office. The Off-Broadway production of Reasons to be Happy was written and directed by Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. Then she starred in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower - an absurdist play starring Greg Germann with Josh Stamberg - for the Old Globe Theatre's debut world premiere.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's best friend in real life and Fischer began with the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf on October, 2019. The podcast quickly gained popularity. Each week it ranked among the Top Ten in global downloads and had more than 200 million downloaded in the initial two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
The Actor's Life is her first book, which details the journey she took from St. Louis, Missouri to Hollywood which is where she discovered her calling as a professional actress. The second book, Office BFF's (co-authored by Angela Kinsey) is a memoir of her most beloved friend as well as their time at The Office.
