Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
The children were sleeping in the crib as I was strapped to a baby to my back. Ha! It was all falling into place, but there was still a long way to go. The home would require an enormous amount of work and a love to shop. To stay in the realm of budgets, I took to taking my kids to estate sales in search of diamonds. We had a weekly schedule that included spending Thursday through Saturday walking around estate and garage sales, shopping for new and used things. The rest of the week working on painting and sanding the driveway. The furniture was like this... which is where I found my love for restoration. The issue was not whether our house had already been decorated. I had a space at the local market and even sold some items there. My collection eventually grew to the point that the space I had available was inadequate. There were open houses at my house where over 1 000 people came through on the span of a weekend. They could buy anything they saw in the first floor. My venture Growing Days began here. My company was flourishing and my family was also growing. It was a balance between starting a business and being a mother. Growing Days just seemed to be the right fit. My daughter Nora became our fourth daughter. The direction my company was heading was excellent, however I was forced to rest for a while. I made the decision to take some breaks from my old furniture and slow down to remain at home with the children. It was the right time. The phone rang again after a while. I was getting calls from people seeking help for decorating their homes and interior improvements. Most of these people were the ones who had strolled through my property during furniture open houses! Then I slowly took on clients in my own way. Soon I had multiple clients, and had as a home improvement business. There is a good chance that I'd have laughed had somebody had informed me that my venture was going to be the basis for an upcoming television show on DIY Network. It's hilarious to look back to the idea.
